Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking a Production Planner to develop, maintain, and execute production plans balancing customer demand, capacity, and material availability. You will manage SAP PP processes, coordinate with Operations, Sales, Forecasting, Purchasing, and Warehouse, and drive timely production scheduling to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, materials planning, scheduling, or related operations.
• Experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) or ERP/MRP system required.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, MRP, inventory, and capacity concepts.
• Advanced Excel with data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, forecasts, inventory, and capacity.
• Create, release, maintain, and monitor production orders within SAP.
• Execute MRP, analyze exceptions, and address planning requirements.
• Monitor material availability and identify shortages or constraints.
• Evaluate manufacturing capacity and scheduling adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Forecasting, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain SAP PP master data and planning parameters.
• Analyze planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate production status, shortages, and risks to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and SAP processes.
