Job summary

The Integrated Planner for Performance Film at Eastman in Fieldale, VA defines and executes short-term production schedules and supply plans using Excel, SAP, and OMP. You will collaborate with manufacturing leaders, procurement, demand planning, and sales to align plans with business objectives.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with SAP/OMP, and a track record of turning data into actionable schedules that optimize inventory and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
• Experience with MRP II principles; Supply Chain processes; Statistical Analysis; and Mathematical Modeling.
• Ability to formulate good judgments and clear rationale in decision making.
• Advanced Excel skills; Outlook and Microsoft applications required.
• Experience with SAP and planning/scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements and model safety excellence.
• Monitor execution plans to meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Improve scheduling tools for better visibility of product availability.
• Perform ad-hoc what-if analyses on supply and production plans.
• Use SAP and OMP to maintain planning parameters and resolve exceptions.
• Identify conflicts with material/capacity availability and data integrity.
• Develop knowledge of key customers, markets, and products.
• Seek optimization opportunities with the Supply and Planning Manager.
• Identify and support inventory optimization opportunities.
