Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company is seeking an Integrated Planner for Performance Film in Kingsport, TN. This role defines and executes short-term production schedules and supply plans, interfacing with manufacturing leaders, procurement, demand planning, engineering, product management, and sales to support business goals.

The position requires strong analytical skills, influence, and communication abilities, with expertise in SAP/OMP and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
• Experience with MRP II concepts; Supply Chain processes; Statistical Analysis (hypothesis testing, regression, or DOE); and Mathematical Modeling (simulation/optimization).
• Ability to form good judgments and clear rationale in decision making.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft applications, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP and planning/scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements and model safety excellence.
• Monitor execution plans to meet manufacturing order deadlines.
• Implement and improve scheduling tools for product availability.
• Perform ad-hoc what-if analyses on supply and production plans.
• Use SAP and OMP to maintain planning parameters and resolve exceptions.
• Identify conflicts in material and capacity availability and resolve them.
• Develop knowledge of customers, markets, and products in area of responsibility.
• Seek optimization opportunities across the value chain with the Supply Manager & Planning Manager.
• Identify and support inventory optimization opportunities.
