Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Fieldale, VA is seeking an Integrated Planner for Performance Film to define and execute short-term production schedules and supply plans using tools like Excel, SAP, and OMP. You will interface across manufacturing, procurement, demand planning, and sales to align operations with business goals.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to develop complex plans that improve product availability and overall supply chain

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
• Requires experience with MRP II principles and concepts; Supply Chain processes; Statistical Analysis; and Mathematical Modeling.
• Ability to formulate good judgments and clear rationale in making decisions, considering all relevant inputs and alternatives.
• Outlook and Microsoft applications (especially advanced Excel skills) skills are required.
• Experience with SAP and planning and scheduling software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with corporate safety requirements and be a role model for safety excellence.
• Monitor execution plans to fulfill manufacturing order deadlines.
• Implement, use, and continuously improve scheduling tools to strengthen planning and visibility of product availability for the business.
• Perform ad-hoc “what-if” analysis on supply and production plan scenarios.
• Utilize SAP and OMP systems to maintain all planning parameters, review and manage to resolution all exception messages.
• Identify and resolve conflicts with material availability, capacity availability and order promise data integrity.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key customers, markets, and products in area of responsibility.
• Seek optimization opportunities across the value chain in collaboration with the Supply Manager & Planning Manager.
• Identify and support inventory optimization opportunities.
