Vibrant Ingredients in the United States seeks a Production Planner to develop and maintain efficient production schedules that align with manufacturing capabilities and meet customer demand.

This role focuses on timely order fulfillment, optimal use of assets, and monitoring material flow to prevent shortages and bottlenecks.

You will collaborate across sales, procurement, logistics and operations to ensure orders are captured, planned, and executed within agreed lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain management, systems engineering, logistics, business or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in production, supply chain, materials planning, or logistics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, people and communication skills.
• Experience with MRP II, MS Office (Excel/Power BI) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, customer service and operations to ensure orders are captured and fulfilled.
• Develop and manage production schedules based on forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
• Maintain planning horizon of 1–3 months and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations to align material flow with needs.
• Determine, monitor, and communicate order ship dates, including changes.
• Review inventory and master data in ERP; report gaps or discrepancies.
• Plan and coordinate production to meet customer expectations within lead times.
• Track capacity, forecast accuracy, inventory, and schedule attainment.
• Plan and prioritize schedules to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as OTAC, Production Plan Attainment, efficiency.
• Manage raw material data across systems to ensure accuracy.
• Automate reporting and enhance processes to improve planning efficiency.
• Identify raw material risks with material planning team and reflect in MRP.
• Monitor data input to MRP systems and resolve issues.
• Coordinate regular S&OP reviews.
• Review BOM data integrity.
• Track inventory trends and compare to targets with recommendations.
• Share reports and analyses with stakeholders to aid decision-making.
• Collaborate with production, operations, quality control, warehouse, and others.
• Support commercialization processes for new items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
