Job summary

Vibrant Ingredients is seeking a Production Planner in Florida to develop and maintain production schedules, align manufacturing capabilities with customer demand, and optimize asset utilization. The role emphasizes timely order fulfillment and improving planning efficiency through data-driven insights.

The candidate will monitor material flow, assess supplier performance, and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, systems engineering, logistics, business or other relevant field of study required.
• 5+ years' experience in production, supply chain, Materials Planning, or logistics.
• Analytical and problem-solving, people, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with MRP II, ERP systems, and MS Office (Excel and Power BI) required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, customer service and operations to ensure orders are captured and fulfilled.
• Develop and manage production schedules based on forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
• Maintain a planning horizon of at least one month, preferably 2-3 months of planned work.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure material flow aligns with production needs.
• Determine, monitor, and communicate order ship dates, both initially and upon changes.
• Review inventory status and master data in ERP system, report gaps or discrepancies.
