Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Production Planner in the United States to coordinate raw materials, purchasing, production scheduling, and shipping to meet customer needs.

The role includes establishing daily work schedules for hourly staff, managing inventory/BOMs, and coordinating interplant transfers while ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control, loading, and shipping procedures preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: receive orders, set delivery dates based on material availability and production schedules.
• Production Planning: establish production plans and daily schedules for hourly personnel.
• Shipping and Logistics: select carriers, coordinate shipments, optimize routes, and meet delivery requirements.
• Inventory Management: place orders for raw materials, manage BOMs, and maintain inventory levels.
• Communication and Coordination: inform sales/plant teams about material availability and schedule changes.
• Documentation and Compliance: prepare certificates and coordinate inspections.
