Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of combined experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics and/or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering (helpful).
• Five (5) years of combined experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics and/or manufacturing (helpful).
• Experience in Production Planning.
• Professional certifications including ASCM CPIM or CSCP (helpful).
• Knowledge of SP, DP, and IBP processes (helpful).
• 3M systems experience (COMS, Fiori, Peoplesoft, SAP) (helpful).
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills (helpful).
• Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills (helpful).
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills (helpful).
• Experience working on cross-functional teams (helpful).
• Experience utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement methodologies (helpful).

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules for assigned work centers to meet customer requirements while maximizing efficiency.
• Use SAP (MRP) to drive scheduling, capacity management and procurement decisions.
• Procuring materials and communicating with suppliers to ensure the production plan is met.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Planning teams.
• Own planning-related performance metrics such as OTIF, backlog and plan attainment.
• Manage inventories to meet targets and maintain compliance.
• Execute production planning standard work with supply chain tools and IT systems.
• Optimize production lot sizes, cycles and safety stocks for service/inventory balance.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects to improve service and cost.
