Job summary

3M Brownwood, TX is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to join the site and manage end-to-end supply chain planning, coordinating with 3M locations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.

You will optimize lot sizes, production cycles, and safety stocks, publish service metrics, and lead process-improvement projects while collaborating with manufacturing, planning, and business teams to balance customer demand with operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Two years of supply chain experience in relevant environment.
• Experience with Factory Planner or MRP/ERP software.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification a plus.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production and finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate with locations, external suppliers, and business teams to meet targets.
• Provide planning analysis to support data-driven decisions.
• Publish and present service and inventory metrics and gap analysis.
• Optimize production lot sizes, production cycles and safety stocks.
• Lead supply chain improvement projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and planning teams to balance service, inventory and cost.
