Job summary

ITT Engineered Valves in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Planner to coordinate production plans for configured items and components, aligning with demand and customer expectations. The planner will release shop orders, monitor capacity, maintain data accuracy, and collaborate with Production Supervision and Inventory/Warehouse teams to keep schedules on track.

Strong communication, MS Office and SAP experience are valued; CPIM/CPM certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or similar field strongly preferred.
• 1+ years planning experience in manufacturing preferred (2+ years acceptable).
• CPIM/CPM certification desirable; additional coursework in materials management preferred.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and ability to work with a diverse team.
• Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Release shop orders for configured items and components within lead times.
• Monitor capacity of critical work centers and balance demand with capacity.
• Maintain data accuracy and recommend changes to planning data.
• Expedite/de-expedite material as required.
• Coordinate part number changes with shop floor personnel.
• Maintain data on released shop orders.
• Quote and issue delivery dates to Customer Service.
• Reschedule orders and inform next level Planner or Customer Service Representative.
• Support Inventory Management & Warehouse Management.
• Monitor on-time performance and recommend improvements.
