Job summary

ITT Engineered Valves in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Planner to join their team. The Planner will collaborate with Production Supervision to plan the production of configured items and components, aligning the production plan with customer demand and next-level demand.

The role focuses on releasing shop orders, monitoring capacity, maintaining planning data accuracy, and coordinating with inventory and warehouse teams to keep schedules aligned and on track.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ years planning in a manufacturing environment; CPIM/CPM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Releases shop orders for configured items and/or components per planning data and lead times.
• Monitors capacity of critical work centers and balances demand with capacity through order release and expediting processes.
• Maintains data on released shop orders and coordinates part number changes with shop floor personnel.
• Quotes/issues delivery dates to Customer Service and reschedules orders as needed.
• Maintains knowledge and provides assistance to Inventory and Warehouse Management.
• Monitors on-time performance and recommends changes to improve results.
• Other duties as assigned.
