Job summary

International Motors USA is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and execute master production schedules that align customer demand with capacity and material availability. You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing Operations to ensure timely schedules and efficient material flow.

The role emphasizes strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance delivery performance and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year in production control/planning or customer service.
• Master's degree with no experience requirement.
• 3+ years of production control/planning or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules to support demand.
• Analyze orders, forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules for changes in demand or constraints.
• Coordinate line setting and sequencing to optimize throughput.
• Establish build priorities and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Materials for material readiness.
• Review shortages and inventory levels to minimize disruptions.
• Evaluate capacity and adjust labor, equipment, and resources.
• Support inventory optimization while maintaining service levels.
• Lead planning reviews for new programs and engineering changes.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, material issues, and bottlenecks.
• Provide planning support for special projects and escalations.
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery and backlog.
