Job summary

Star Manufacturing seeks an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production planning across multiple product families and lines. You will translate demand into an executable schedule while balancing labor, material, and capacity constraints to meet customer commitments.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP knowledge, Excel analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Sales.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years in production planning, master scheduling, materials management or similar.
Experience in a complex, high-mix manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, scheduling and processes.
APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the master production schedule across product families and areas.
Translate orders, forecasts, backlog, and inventory into an executable plan.
Balance product mix against labor, capacity, material availability, and priorities.
Analyze capacity requirements and identify bottlenecks proactively.
Coordinate with Purchasing/Supply Chain on material shortages and timing.
Monitor backlog, commitments, and at-risk orders; build recovery plans.
