Job summary

Electrical Components International is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain the master production schedule, translating customer demand into executable build plans that meet on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets. This on-site role reports to the VP/GM MRG at the Foxborough facility.

You will balance orders, forecasts, capacity, labor, and materials, partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality, and drive Lean improvements to reduce lead times and scrap.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production planning, scheduling, or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for scheduling, work orders, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of Lean production; APICS/ASCM CPIM certification a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule balancing demand, capacity, and materials.
• Convert orders and forecasts into executable build plans with due dates.
• Monitor ERP/MRP data to determine material and labor requirements.
• Plan inventories and coordinate with Purchasing to expedite parts.
• Communicate schedule changes and risks to cross-functional teams.
• Track on-time delivery and production performance metrics.
• Support SIOP with capacity analysis and load projections.
