Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Production Planner III to transform demand signals into efficient production schedules. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure continuous production flow while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, schedule optimization, and the ability to influence planning decisions across multiple levels of the organization. A background in food/beverage manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in production planning in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Experience managing diverse internal stakeholders including forecasting, inventory management, maintenance and QA.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, NetSuite or ERP systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with internal and external customers.
• Financial understanding of P&L and ability to drive bottom-line profit.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills across organization levels.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with financial KPI's.
• Ability to develop strategic vision for a Global Procurement organization.
• Able to manage multiple projects and develop staff priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create production schedules to maintain targeted inventory while balancing staffing, capacity, and efficiency.
• Analyze SKU demand allocations and plan site schedules based on capacity and needs.
• Organize and lead S&OP meetings focused on customer support and plant profitability.
• Adjust replenishment settings and maintain inventory levels.
• Coordinate with plant leadership to schedule production within budget.
• Engage sales to align priorities with demand signals and trends.
• Communicate schedule changes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor planners and share best practices across the org.
• Provide cross-functional leadership to resolve demand-related issues.
• Deliver timely demand forecasts to Sales and Operations and stakeholders.
