Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company is seeking an Inventory Lead to organize the warehouse, ensure timely material flow to production and finished goods to distribution, and supervise a small transportation team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency as you lead daily operations and maintain ERP-driven controls.

The position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Director of Operations, with daily supervision and collaboration across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of inventory control experience.
• Forklift certified with 1+ years of experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations.
• Able to effectively communicate ideas (verbal and written).
• Attention to detail while maintaining alertness, professionalism, and honesty.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• 2+ years leadership or management experience is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle's NetSuite ERP system.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the production schedule and submit material requests via ERP to the distribution center.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
• Organize and coordinate returns of leftover packaging materials.
• Use FIFO when pulling materials by lot number for traceability.
• Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse.
• Receive purchase orders in ERP and process paperwork for Compliance and Accounting.
• Manage small transportation team and supervise the fleet and warehouse staff.
• Communicate with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain teams about non-conforming products and urgent matters.
• Execute inventory transactions in ERP as needed.
• Operate a forklift safely and proficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and GMP requirements at all times.
• Assist with daily goals and conduct team meetings.
