Job summary

Wyman Gordon, Worcester, MA, seeks a Manufacturing Production Planner to own post-forge planning through delivery, including machining, heat treat, inspection and shipping. You will coordinate with internal and external centers to create feasible daily/weekly schedules for on-time delivery.

The role requires building mid- to long-term plans, translating orders to executable programs, balancing capacity, and driving data-driven decisions across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• S./ B.A (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management) preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.
• AS9100 or ISO 9001 experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of MRP and production planning.
• Ability to data mine and find alternative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build mid to long term production plans to meet delivery demands.
• Partner with operations to create feasible daily/weekly schedules.
• Translate customer orders into executable plans.
• Balance capacity across internal and external centers.
• Manage outside services coordination for expediting.
• Develop data-driven tools to improve span time and delivery.
