Job summary

Precision Castparts Paramount is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize production plans and schedules for forging and machining operations. This role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities include creating detailed plans, balancing capacity with demand, maintaining ERP/MRP routings, and supporting S&OP and MPS activities during continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed production plans and schedules for forging, machining, and finishing operations.
• Balance customer demand with capacity, labor, tooling, and material flow.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align material availability with schedules.
• Support S&OP and Master Production Scheduling activities and drive continuous improvement.
