Job summary

Forgent Power in the United States is seeking a Fabrication Production Planner to coordinate fabrication workflows, schedules, and material requirements to ensure timely delivery of fabricated products.

The role focuses on optimizing resources to minimize downtime, managing inventory levels, and resolving bottlenecks between sales, engineering, and the production floor. You will develop detailed MPS, monitor MRP releases, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed manufacturing schedules (MPS).
• Workflow Optimization: Coordinate with fabrication teams to reduce bottlenecks and meet timelines.
• Material Control: Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisitions.
• Order Management: Release manufacturing orders based on MRP and track progress.
• Problem Solving: Address production disruptions and machinery issues.
