Job summary

Wyman Gordon in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner to own post-forge production planning through delivery, including machining, heat treat, ultrasonic inspection, and shipping. You will coordinate across internal and external centers to translate demand into executable schedules.

The role requires strong Excel and MRP knowledge, with the ability to mine data for capacity decisions and drive on-time delivery while balancing capacity and materials across multiple

Qualifications

BS/BA in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain preferred.
Strong Excel skills required for data analysis and reporting.
AS9100 or ISO 9001 experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of MRP and production planning.

Responsibilities

Build mid-to-long-term production plans to meet delivery demands.
Collaborate with operations to create feasible daily/weekly schedules.
Translate customer orders into executable production plans.
Balance capacity, equipment, labor, and materials for internal vs external needs.
Manage production expediting for outside services.
Develop data-driven tools to improve span time and capacity decisions.
