This onsite role requires coordinating with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to meet customer commitments and balance capacity with demand. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in production planning or scheduling, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor or Dynamics 365 BC).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, materials planning, operations, or related manufacturing role.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, especially Epicor or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, work centers, routings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical, schematic, and assembly drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for Machine Shop and Assembly based on customer orders, forecasts, capacity, and priorities.
• Plan workloads across work centers to support on‑time completion of orders.
• Release planned production orders after verifying BOM, materials, routing, and capacity.
• Monitor progress, identify scheduling risks, bottlenecks, and shortages.
• Adjust schedules to minimize delays and meet customer commitments.
• Create production orders and post materials in the ERP system.
• Communicate status, risks, and changes to stakeholders; present planning updates weekly.
