Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations or business-related field.
• Strong root cause problem solving and analytical skills per DMAIC or similar, with ability to make critical decisions.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Business systems experience such as MRP and ERP.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, public speaking).
• Leadership, coaching and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic/tactical direction to the Planning team in support of Springville objectives.
• Establish effective communication and performance management for daily visibility and continuous improvement.
• Direct production planning, materials, capacity, and scheduling requirements using forecast-driven inventory (SIOP).
• Develop PFEP to minimize inventory and maintain material flow.
• Improve inventory, OTD and past-due metrics through targeted projects.
• Engage with sales to maintain market lead times and forecast inventory.
• Create production schedules and prioritize capacity and CORE customer expectations.
• Maintain planning BOMs in ERP and analyze KPIs for decision making.
