Job summary

Viken Detection Corp. is seeking a highly organized Production Planner to optimize production schedules, material availability, and manufacturing workflow, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient operations.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP experience, BOM knowledge, and Lean manufacturing principles. You will collaborate with operations, purchasing, engineering, and finance to maintain a master production schedule and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and BOMs.
Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with Power BI and BI tooling preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain master production schedule via material scenarios and BOMs.
Create and manage build assemblies in ERP to ensure accurate production tracking.
Lead production updates in cross-functional Teams meetings with material availability focus.
Run weekly production status meetings to hit ship dates.
Conduct monthly SIOP meetings.
Support Lean manufacturing procedures, records, and reports.
