OSTTRA Group in Noblesville, Indiana seeks a Production Planner to develop schedules and procurement plans meeting customer expectations and corporate goals. You will use ERP to schedule orders based on due dates, ship dates, and production capacity.

The role demands strong time management, problem solving, and clear communication with production management, sales, and Inside teams. A focus on lifecycle management and efficient inventory planning is essential.

Formación

• Associates or bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or Production Management) or 3-5 years of manufacturing/inventory control experience.
• Strong time management with ability to multi-task.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Communication: read/write/speak English and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and maintain orders to support customer, sales, internal ops, and corporate objectives.
• Use ERP to schedule incoming orders for optimal due dates considering ship date and capacity.
• Ensure inventory procurement aligns with due dates using cost-effective methods.
• Respond quickly to delinquent orders and communicate with Production Management daily.
• Review demands and expedite with relevant departments if changes occur.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales Support and Sales to meet priority ship dates.
• Assist with updating or cancelling orders as needed.
• Participate in New Product Introduction meetings to coordinate inventory procurement.
• Update item records and lifecycle management steps as required.
• Maintain 5S compliant, safe, clean work environment and escalate issues when needed.
