Job summary

Spectrum Aquatics seeks a Production Planning & Inventory Associate to support inventory control, work-order management, material planning, production scheduling, and reporting. This role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and Shipping to ensure accurate material availability and on-time production.

The ideal candidate works methodically, values accuracy, and uses data to solve operational problems.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with thorough documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication across departments.
• Ability to interpret work orders, BOMs, and inventory reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cycle-count sheets and generate variance reports.
• Create, issue, close, and cancel work orders.
• Review BOMs for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales and Purchasing to order materials.
• Post inventory adjustments and material transfers.
• Process material orders from vendors.
• Maintain weekly production dashboard.
• Research inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Track work-order changes and schedule updates.
