Job summary

Spectrum Staffing Services seeks an Experienced Planning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, materials planning and inventory activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Parsippany, NJ.

You will work cross-functionally to balance demand, capacity, and material availability while improving planning accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Strong leadership and ERP/MRP experience are essential.

Qualifications

Prior management experience leading teams in manufacturing or operations.
Strong background in production planning, forecasting, scheduling, materials planning and inventory control.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems; familiarity with planning platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and adjust production schedules based on demand, capacity, inventory levels and priorities.
Forecast material and production needs using customer requirements and data.
Coordinate material availability to support schedules and reduce shortages.
Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve balance and reduce excess.
Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure data accuracy.
