Job summary

Brex is seeking a Product and Privacy Counsel to lead the privacy program and monitor regulatory developments at the intersection of fintech and technology. You will scale privacy initiatives, advise cross-functional teams, and collaborate with bank partners and industry groups to maintain a forward-looking privacy posture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in law, tech, or fintech privacy/regulatory work.
• Deep understanding of GDPR/CCPA and U.S. financial regs.
• Excellent judgment, independent work, product-minded.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with cross-functional communication.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong project management with multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Scale Data Privacy and Security Programs with engineering and business teams.
• Implement Global Privacy Compliance for GDPR, CCPA and related regs.
• Negotiate Data-Related Contracts focusing on data protection.
• Provide Product and Regulatory Advice for all products and GTM.
• Represent Brex with partners and regulatory bodies externally.
• Collaborate with compliance, engineering, and business teams on innovation within regs.
• Manage Outside Counsel for regulatory, privacy, and data matters.
