Job summary

Brex is seeking a senior Legal professional to partner with engineering, product, and design on spend management software across global markets. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical product decisions and help teams move fast while ensuring compliance.

Based in Seattle in a hybrid role, you will collaborate with privacy, security, compliance, marketing, sales, and partnerships to solve complex regulatory challenges and draft customer-facing agreements and disclosures for

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction are required.
• Experience advising on credit card, lending, and fintech matters preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset and ability to handle complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded legal partner to engineering, product, and design teams overseeing spend management features; advise in real time as they are designed.
• Provide pragmatic guidance on regulatory, disclosures, and cross-border issues for product launches and partnerships.
• Advise on product architecture, data flows, AI/automation features, and vendor integrations from compliance perspective.
• Draft and maintain customer agreements, disclosures, and feature-level terms for spend management software.
• Support data handling, integrations, and partner arrangements related to product launches.
