Job summary

Framatome, headquartered in Lynchburg, VA, seeks a Business Manager to own strategy, development, and commercial execution for a portfolio of Mechanical Products. You will drive roadmaps, pricing, and profitability, while coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate customer needs into compelling business cases.

You will lead product opportunities from concept through launch, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cross-functional alignment with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, science, business or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent communication skills to work across all levels and with vendors/customers.
• Ability to adapt priorities quickly and work well in cross-functional teams.
• Strong in building trust, listening, and tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and technical proposal software.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for assigned portfolio.
• Manage portfolio performance: revenue, margin, cash-flow, and forecast assumptions.
• Define value propositions, pricing strategies, and profitability targets with leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on target customers, differentiation, messaging, and launch plans.
• Represent portfolio in customer meetings, industry forums, and internal reviews; monitor regulatory/tech developments.
• Lead new products and major enhancements from definition to launch and transition to execution.
• Identify strategic suppliers and internal capabilities for growth or gaps.
• Lead supplier agreements with Legal and Supply Chain, including pricing and scope.
• Regularly assess portfolio and decide where to invest or discontinue.
