Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Director of Product Planning to connect strategy with a practical, well-ordered plan across the product group. This role keeps the team coordinated, informed, and progressing with high visibility and influence within the entire product organization.

You will guide the process that aligns and prioritizes roadmaps, manage how metrics are analyzed, and package findings into a decisive narrative for leadership while supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product operations, technical program management, or similar cross-functional planning role.
• Strong track record running planning and prioritization across multiple teams or product lines.
• Comfortable with data and metrics; translate outputs into leadership-ready narratives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; synthesize complexity for leadership action.
• Highly organized, low-ego, and able to simplify others' work.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning to deliver a resourced, sequenced roadmap across product lines.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions, surface conflicts, and manage dependencies.
• Maintain an up-to-date roadmap and clearly communicate changes.
• Build and manage the product org's operating rhythm with planning cycles and reviews.
• Own tooling and systems (Jira, Linear, Notion) as a single source of truth.
• Identify cross-team gaps and ensure timely resolution.
• Partner with Data Science; own the reporting layer and synthesize insights for leadership.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations and talking points for planning decisions.
• Lead cross-organizational initiatives or ad hoc analyses for the Senior Director of Product Management.
• Represent the product planning function in conversations with adjacent teams as needed.
