Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Director of Product Planning to connect strategy with a practical, well-ordered plan across the product group. You will guide the process that aligns roadmaps and ensures narrative clarity for leadership.

You will partner with Data Science and product leaders, own the operating rhythm, and manage tools like Jira, Linear, and Notion to keep planning artifacts trustworthy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product operations or similar cross-functional planning role
• Strong track record running planning/prioritization across multiple teams or product lines
• Comfortable with data and metrics; translate outputs into a story for leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication; synthesize complexity for leadership
• Highly organized and able to make other people's work easier and more coherent
• Experience leading a team is a plus, role may start as IC
• Experience in fast-paced, regulated, or high-stakes industries is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning to turn strategic priorities into a resourced, sequenced roadmap
• Facilitate prioritization discussions among product leaders and surface blockers
• Keep roadmap current and credible; communicate changes clearly
• Build and manage the product org's operating rhythm (planning cycles, reviews)
• Own tooling and systems (Jira, Linear, Notion) as single source of truth
• Partner with Data Science to build and maintain underlying metrics/dashboards
• Translate data into recommendations and talking points for leadership
• Lead cross-organizational initiatives and ad hoc analyses
