Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA. You will translate customer feedback into product requirements and partner with Product Management, Engineering, and R&D to shape new features.

You will lead go-to-market launches, develop positioning and collateral, and enable sales teams with content and training to drive growth across federal, local, and commercial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, B2B marketing, sales enablement, product management support, market research, or a related role.
• Ability to understand technical products, services, or solutions and translate them into clear customer-facing value propositions.
• Strong writing, editing, presentation, and project coordination skills.
• Experience developing marketing collateral, sales enablement tools, campaign content, or launch materials.
• Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, buyer personas, ICP development, customer journey mapping, and go-to-market planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic marketing plans for assigned products or product lines using market research and competitive analysis.
• Maintain buyer personas, ICPs, buying-process insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Translate customer feedback into product requirements and inform roadmaps.
• Serve as Marketing’s primary advocate on cross-functional development teams.
• Identify growth areas and create strategic product roadmaps to drive adoption.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of customer satisfaction issues and inform GTM plans.
• Develop differentiated positioning and messaging for target audiences.
