Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a strategic Product Manager to shape the technology-enabled audit delivery within the Audit product line. You will define vision, guide roadmaps, and partner across Assurance, technology, data, UX, and platform teams to translate practitioner needs into scalable solutions.

You will champion modern product practices, lead discovery, and own end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strong user experience for complex audit workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• MBA, advanced degree, CPA, or equivalent designation is a plus.
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in audit technology, accounting software, professional services, or workflow-intensive software environments.
• Strong customer discovery, research, and user-centered design capabilities.
• Data-driven decision-making skills with analytics, KPIs, and experimentation to prioritize outcomes.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with agile, lean, and modern product operating models.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Assurance goals and practitioner needs.
• Own and communicate the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on impact and value.
• Lead customer discovery with audit partners and operations teams to identify pain points.
• Monitor market trends in audit tech, AI, analytics, and automation; use feedback and metrics to guide decisions.
• Partner with engineering, data, UX, platform, vendor, and business teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Create clarity on priorities, ownership, and success measures.
• Advance modern product management practices across the organization.
