Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a strategic Product Manager to shape technology-enabled audit delivery. You’ll own one or more Audit product-line products, define vision, roadmaps, and measure outcomes in partnership with Assurance, technology, data, UX, and vendor teams.

You will translate practitioner needs into scalable solutions, lead discovery with audit partners and engagement teams, and help mature product management practices within a transforming operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Accounting, or IS; MBA/CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of product management experience in audit tech or workflow software.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Strong customer discovery and user-centered design capabilities.
• Data-driven with KPIs, analytics, and business cases.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiar with agile/lean product operating models.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion product vision and roadmap aligned with Assurance business goals and practitioner needs.
• Own and communicate the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact and value.
• Lead customer discovery with audit partners, engagement teams, and quality leaders to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Monitor market trends in audit tech, AI, analytics, and adjacent industries to guide decisions.
• Partner with engineering, data, UX, platform, vendor, and business teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Create clarity across stakeholders regarding priorities, ownership, and success measures.
• Champion and mature modern product management practices within the operating model transformation.
