International House at UC Berkeley is seeking a Product Manager to own Admissions and Finance Systems, guiding the workflow from application through payment. You will work with Admissions, Financial Aid, Accounting, and Housing Operations to configure StarRez, automate billing, and provide reliable reporting.

Formación

• Three or more years of experience owning a business system or product end to end.
• Experience configuring and administering a complex operational platform.
• Strong applied data skills: can query a database and build trusted reports.
• Experience building automation with Power Automate, APIs, or similar tools.
• Understanding of billing concepts: charges, payment schedules, statements, reconciliations.
• Ability to hit a fixed calendar deadline for a build other teams depend on.
• Clear written communication and good documentation habits.

Responsabilidades

• Own the StarRez annual application build and testing cycle.
• Administer day-to-day StarRez operations: terms, rates, room assignments, and business rules.
• Maintain integrity of booking and contract records; ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support move-in/move-out cycles with proper data steps and sequencing.
• Own accounting automations: late fees, charges, payment schedules, and resident statements.
• Manage payment integrations and webhooks with Stripe and TouchNet.
• Ensure resident portal summaries align with the ledger, including scholarships across terms.
• Collaborate with Accounting on reconciliation and AR tie-out for auditors.
• Own Power BI data models for admissions, occupancy, revenue, and satisfaction.
• Document systems and export configurations to the shared repository.
