Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 years of professional procurement experience; 1 year leading or supervising professional staff.
  • Additional work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and honing institute procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with university, state, and federal policies.
  • Working with staff to maintain excellent customer service regarding travel and procurement.
  • Managing effort of multiple staff members who contribute to procurement and travel tasks.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert on travel and procurement for state and federal funding sources.
  • Ensuring travel and procurement tasks are executed correctly, timely, and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Training new coordinators in procurement and travel work.
