Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) is a multidisciplinary computing research institute led by distinguished researchers and supported by a cutting-edge infrastructure. UMIACS pioneers computational science involving national defense, precision medicine, big data, cybersecurity, language and culture, and more. As part of its operations, UMIACS purchases about $5M per year in travel, equipment, supplies, and a myriad other commodities and services to support our researchers. The Program Manager, Procurement and Travel performs a variety of professional administrative duties in support of the day‑to‑day operations of this work. Examples include:
