Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Three (3) years of professional procurement experience required.
  • Additional work experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and hone institute procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with technical and business staff to maintain excellent customer service for travel and procurement.
  • Manage the effort of multiple staff members contributing to procurement and travel tasks.
  • Serve as SME on travel and procurement for state and federal funding sources.
  • Ensure tasks are executed correctly, timely, and communications are kept with stakeholders.
  • Train new coordinators in procurement and travel work.
