Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines is seeking a Procurement Specialist to partner with cross-functional teams and manage sourcing for FBH categories. You will oversee supplier pricing, KPI tracking, and vendor relationships from our South Florida offices, with in-office expectations and some remote Fridays.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in a related field and have 2+ years of procurement experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to lead mid-level projects and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, Hospitality, and/or Science, Agriculture required and/or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute tactical sourcing plans for assigned projects to create long-term value and meet brand objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; be the primary point of engagement and escalation for brand teams.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and influencers to become a trusted sourcing partner.
• Select vendors considering financial and qualitative criteria based on tactical bids; ensure vendors are paid on terms.
• Serve as SME on CRM and SRM to Purchasing Organization and process partners.
• Drive SRM results; leverage data and KPIs; assist Expediting in escalating supplier issues.
• Develop and negotiate spot purchases for special requests or last-minute shorts.
• Work with Strategic Sourcing to consolidate spend and identify opportunities for strategic sourcing.
