Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support spend categories across Technical and Port Operations. The role partners with Engineering, Environmental, and Fleet teams to shape category strategies and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities include market research, RFIs/RFPs, spend analyses, and contract support. Office-based in South Florida with travel as needed; strong Excel and vendor management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• MBA and CPSM/CPM are preferred qualifications.
• Experience with competitive sourcing events and eSourcing tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing projects across Technical and Port Operations categories.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Hotel Operations, Environmental, Safety, Fleet Technical, and Port Operations teams.
• Develop category strategies and sourcing plans.
• Conduct supplier market research and benchmark suppliers and solutions.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, certifications, and compliance.
• Support RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs through evaluations and bid analysis.
• Perform spend, pricing, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Support contract implementation and supplier transitions.
• Maintain sourcing documentation and records.
