Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Lakewood, Colorado to support procurement activities and vendor management in alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.

You will collaborate with Operations, Category Managers, and cross-functional teams to meet regional procurement objectives. The role involves leading spend analyses, RFXs for large projects, and contract reviews while ensuring compliance with company processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of procurement or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support local procurement activities and monitor vendor performance.
• Lead formal spend and cost analyses and supplier identification.
• Conduct site visits and participate in regional/local meetings.
• Lead Formal RFXs for large projects through tender platform.
• Prepare purchase orders and review bids/proposals.
• Drive contract usage and supplier spend consolidation.
• Support procurement training initiatives for Division management.
