Specialty Tile Products is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead purchasing and inventory initiatives, balancing cost, service, and profitability. You will oversee domestic and international procurement, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate logistics to optimize inventory turns and margins.

The role blends hands-on day-to-day management with process improvements, risk mitigation, and team development, in a hybrid office setting with potential remote days.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Strong communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Analytical approach to inventory, replenishment, and cost management.
• Experience with imports, freight, and customs documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee domestic purchasing, PO management, sourcing, delivery scheduling, returns.
• Manage international imports from containers to customs clearance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, carriers, 3PL.
• Review import docs (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists).
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Identify supply-chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Improve margins via vendor negotiations, bulk discounts, freight optimization.
• Manage replenishment and stock profiles across warehouses.
• Maintain stock profiles and replenishment in ERP.
• Partner with Product Managers on inventory strategy.
• Support and develop procurement team with clear expectations.
