Job summary

mSupply is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to oversee purchase policies, procedures, and PO administration for designated locations and product categories. The role focuses on procurement planning, supplier management, and strategic sourcing to manage inbound orders and fulfill special orders.

The ideal candidate brings 1+ years in purchasing, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of purchasing experience or related operations.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Intermediate in Microsoft Excel (formulas and formatting).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Skilled in using office technology, including computers, phone systems, and virtual platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase order administration for designated branches, vendors, or product categories.
• Utilize the ERP system for data entry, messaging, queue management, batching, and purchasing operations.
• Maintain product records within the ERP system and ensure accurate PO management and special-order processing.
• Proactively update open purchase orders to ensure accurate arrival timelines, expediting as needed.
• Review vendor lead times to support reliable planning and resolve pricing discrepancies.
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships and inform management of critical issues.
