Job summary

Humanify in Zelienople, PA is seeking a detail-oriented procurement specialist to manage inventory flow, supplier relationships, and PO accuracy within a growing manufacturing environment. You will own stock levels, monitor lead times (including international sourcing from Asia/China), and drive procurement optimization with ERP/MRP tools and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities include monitoring ~30 SKUs, issuing POs, supplier scorecards, inventory analysis to avoid stockouts or overstock,

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of buying, purchasing, or procurement experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or assembly environment.
• Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP replenishment systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to create, rebuild, and optimize inventory spreadsheets from scratch.
• Experience working with international supply chains (Asia/China); strong data accuracy and proactive problem solving.
• Interest in using modern software tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels for ~30 active SKUs and manage consignment inventory with key vendors.
• Issue, manage, and follow up on Purchase Orders for raw materials and supplies; ensure delivery dates are updated.
• Maintain relationships with international suppliers and conduct vendor scorecards.
• Review aging or slow-moving inventory and implement corrective measures to avoid stockouts and overstock.
• Collaborate with Plant Management, Production Scheduling, and Engineering on new product development items.
• Rebuild and maintain inventory models and leverage MRP/ERP capabilities including emerging AI tools.
