Job summary

Vivid Impact in Louisville is seeking a Procurement Specialist to handle materials sourcing, vendor relationships, and cost-effective purchasing. You will process purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and align procurement with production schedules.

This full-time role offers a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, life and short-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and more.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience with vendors and pricing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to read purchasing documents and manuals.
• Strong organization, math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and vendor relationships, create purchase orders and ensure supplier pricing and service meets expectations.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to develop new sources and favorable terms.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery, communicating updates to internal teams.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and accounting to understand needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist with invoice discrepancies.
