Job summary

LA International is seeking a procurement professional to manage a formal competition process, including acquisitions of materials, software, and services. The role involves creating complex RFPs, evaluating supplier responses, and conducting price analysis.

You will interact with stakeholders and support senior staff while maintaining high security awareness. Qualified candidates will have CIPS or be working towards it, strong communication, and proven experience in bid/proposal phases.

Responsibilities

• Acquisitions of materials, software, services, and maintenance and support requirements.
• Applies procurement knowledge to business requirements to support effective procurement approaches.
• Creates moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with requirements.
• Evaluates supplier proposal responses.
• Conducts price and cost analysis.
• Evaluates and scores supplier responses regarding pricing and terms/conditions.
• Identifies and resolves moderate issues within the competition process.
• Analyses risks and identifies risk mitigation.
• Interacts with stakeholders as required.
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal with supplier-related issues and drive resolution.
• Support senior staff and management as directed.
