Job summary

IMCD Group in Westlake, OH is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to execute purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and support day-to-day supply execution with the Supply Planning, S&OP and Operations teams.

You will develop procurement skills, manage routine tasks, and enhance supplier communication, inventory management, and issue resolution while leveraging Excel and ERP systems. A Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience is preferred, with a hybrid work setup and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of equivalent purchasing/supply execution experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic ERP navigation.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders in line with planning recommendations and supplier agreements.
• Monitor open orders, delivery performance, and supplier confirmations; follow up on discrepancies.
• Identify and escalate supply risks, shortages, and delivery issues to senior staff.
• Communicate order status to internal stakeholders (Supply Planning, Operations).
• Maintain procurement data, order records, and ERP transactions.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement, inventory accuracy, and supplier performance.
