Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• 5–10 years of purchasing experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in Oracle Financials; ERP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply financial concepts.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, regulatory and financial documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal customers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures.
• Manages the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract administration for assigned spend areas.
• Evaluates proposals and negotiates with suppliers and requestors.
• Ensures suppliers comply with PO or Master Service Agreement terms.
• Supports user in purchase request scope definition when needed.
• Performs rate analysis/negotiation and compliance oversight.
• Coordinates with Finance to ensure on-time payments.
• Maintains professional relationships and represents the company positively.
• Participates in training and improvement of P2P processes.
• Identifies problems and follows through with timely solutions.
