BWC Terminals in Houston, TX seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing for materials, equipment, and services across bulk liquid storage operations. You will analyze costs, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and support contract administration to deliver value and on-time sourcing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, 5–10 years in purchasing, and strong Oracle Financials experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• 5–10 years of purchasing experience, preferably in industrial environments.
• Proficient with Oracle Financials Procurement Module; ERP experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle: sourcing, PO issuance, and contract administration.
• Evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure supplier compliance with contracts.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely payment and tracking of orders.
• Analyze costs and identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Maintain supplier relationships and communicate expectations professionally.
