Job summary

WSP USA in Houston seeks a Procurement and Contracts Lead to oversee contracting and purchasing on major projects, coordinating with project teams and clients.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in supply chain, supervisory experience, and strong Oracle SCM, negotiation and analytical skills.

You will develop procurement plans, bid packages, evaluate suppliers, manage PO changes, and ensure safe, ethical practices while meeting schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, science, environmental, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Oracle-based SCM systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and contracting workflows for major projects.
• Develop bidders lists, bid packages, RFPs and RFQs.
• Negotiate terms and issue POs and contracts.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers on scope, KPIs and budgets.
• Manage PO changes and supplier performance evaluations.
• Ensure procurement activities align with client requirements and company policies.
